Logan Lyons
Software Engineer
I'm a Software Engineer who likes to understand how things work by taking them apart and building them back up. I've been diving into open source projects to deepen my skills and contribute in meaningful ways. I care about writing clean, reliable code and learning systems from the inside out. I'm comfortable digging into unfamiliar territory, asking the right questions, and shipping work that holds up. I'm here to keep growing and to make things that actually work.
Featured Projects
Recipe Roulette
JavaScript, API - A fun recipe generator made with Javascipt and TheMealDB to provide random recipes based on a user provided main ingredient. Recipe Roulette is a great way to find new meals. It pulls information about random recipes from an API and gives you something random every time you click "Get Recipe." Perfect for when you just aren't sure what to make.

KB Fence and Construction
HTML5, CSS - A simple, yet effective design for a licensed fence contractor. The goal was to create a way for clients to book consultations and display past projects. Among a working contact form, you'll also find responsiveness for different screen sizes and a focus on portraying the reliability that comes with doing business with an expert in the form of rich text content. The best part about this design is that it's simple and flexible.

Hornet Lounge
HTML5, CSS - A concept for a gaming lounge that was inspired by nostalgia and fantasy. This project largely stemmed from the desire to have a place to escape the real world and dive into an adventureon a when, without having to worry about getting a group together. Community is an important aspect when it comes to games like DND and other TTRPGs. I was trying to capture that importance.
